Lighthouse fostering is a small organisation that was started by foster carers and care leavers. We have an independent forum consisting of fostr carers, these people help to steer the direction Lighthouse Fostering takes and ensure that children and carers are at the heart of all that we do.

Unlike some other large corporate fostering organisations who expect you to do all the travelling. we will ensure that all training is local to you.
We will ensure that thee training is based in the East Sussex area in either Brighton, Hastings, Bexhill- on Sea, Eastbourne, Rye, Battle or Hove.
East Sussex is a beautiful area full of history and heritage. Even people who did not enjoy history at school have probably heard of that one historic date 1066 (950 years ago this year) when the Norman’s fought King Harold’s army at a site near to Battle. Battle Abbey was built by the Norman’s after their victory and is certainly worth a visit.
